The irony that the reason we’re running this race is the same reason I’ve not been able to run as well as I’d like to over recent years; lupus. 

There’s no hard and fast rule as to what living with this condition is like, but one thing is for sure - it’s still not as well known as a condition that affects around 1 in 1,000 people every day should be.

So we go again. Whilst this time we hope to be faster and stronger, we’re sharing the same message as before: the more well known lupus and other auto immune conditions become, the higher our chances are at finding effective medicine that means people like me can live the lives they want to.
