The people of Shaam (Greater Syria) and Yemen were particularly dear to the Prophet Muhammads (saw) heart, and he used to pray for these blessed lands. Yet today, these lands are suffering due to conflict, displacement and impoverishment.

Many charities provide food for our brothers and sisters during the months of Ramadan, but once Ramadan is over, they go back to having no food. Therefore, we have decided to distribute your sadaqah and zakat on the ground in the blessed month of Shawwal.

For over a decade, you have provided families with vital emergency relief including food, water and winter supplies, as well as helping to establish schools, bakeries and mobile medical clinics.

Now, we will be visiting Lebanon to distribute aid to some of the neediest of the ummah. You will also, help repair shelter and have an opportunity to witness first-hand the living conditions as well as, greet and seek the prayers of our beneficiaries all while helping them.
