I am excited to share that I will be running the Berlin Marathon 2024, marking my second marathon journey where the first one took place in the breath-taking region of Bamiyan, Afghanistan, a place that holds a special significance in my heart. This journey began with the support of Free to Run, who not only guided me through my marathon but has continued to be a driving force behind my passion for running. Running is more than just a personal challenge for me; it is a symbol of freedom, empowerment, and breaking societal norms.

As I lace up my running shoes for the Berlin Marathon, I am fueled by a cause close to my heart - the girls and women in Afghanistan and Iraq who are restricted from participating in sports.
