Story
Hangout Luton has organised a Charity Badminton Tournament to help raise funds for the Curry Kitchen, a pioneering partnership project between Community Interest Luton, Discover Islam Information Centre, and local businesses. This initiative aims to provide hot, nutritious meals to those in need.
Each meal costs just £1.80 per person, and every penny of your donation directly funds these meals. You can be confident that your contribution will go entirely towards feeding someone in need.
Since its inception, the Curry Kitchen has served over 43,200 hot meals, which is truly remarkable! However, to continue supporting those who need it most, we need to raise around £12,000 to cover the cost of meals for the entire year.
The impact of COVID-19 has significantly increased the demand for hot meals, and this need will only grow as the days get shorter and colder.
A donation of £18 will help feed ten people, providing them not only with a warm meal but also with a safe space to eat, connect with others, and access additional support. Any amount you can donate will make a difference in the lives of the homeless and vulnerable.
