Updated 9 March 2023: Oldies Club has now been invoiced for my recent treatment, with the cost coming to £1,427, so the fundraising target has been updated to reflect that.
Thank you so much to everyone who has already donated towards my vet bill. If anyone else is able to donate £2 or more via this page to help Oldies Club pay for my treatment that would be wonderful :-)

Hi, I'm Hooch. I've been in Oldies Club care for over a year now, waiting to find my forever home. Recently I had to visit the vet again, because a cyst on my back leg was aggravating me. The vet lanced it and prescribed antibiotics for me, but unfortunately they didn't resolve things and so I had to have surgery just over a week ago. I had four lumps removed in total and all went well during the op, although I did have to return to the vets to have one of the wounds restitched under sedation - we'll spare you the photographic evidence!
I get stressed when kennelled at the vets, so when my foster mum came to pick me up, I was receiving fuss from one of the lovely vet nurses in a quiet room :-)
Oldies Club doesn't have a final total for my vet bill yet, but the humans have mentioned an estimate of £900 to £1,100. I am hoping by starting this page that you will donate whatever you can to help towards these costs to help Oldies Club continue taking care of me while I await my forever home, and all the other older dogs in its care.
Thank you! Love, Hooch x
Should Oldies Club supporters be generous enough to donate more than is needed for my vet bills/care, any excess money will be directed to the charity’s general fund and used to help other older dogs in its care.
