Story

I am going to ‘walk the catwalk’ at the Ferry Project Fashion Show on 6th March 2025 at Queen Mary Centre, Wisbech in aid of the Ferry Project, a homelessness charity.

When trying to rebuild their lives, homeless people often have nothing to help them set up a home that enables them to live independently such as a pillow, a cup or a plate, and even clothing.

The Donations Hub at the Ferry Project helps a homeless person find their feet by giving them the essentials needed to help set up a home.

A big part of the donations hub contents is clothing, hence the Fashion Show. I will be wearing an item of donated clothing from the Donations Hub and will ‘walk the catwalk’ with it on IF you sponsor me to do it.

All money raised goes to a good cause, so please give what you can.

You can also join me on the night as tickets to the Fashion Show will be for sale on Eventbrite and cost £5 or £7.50 and include free canapes and a drink upon arrival.

Thank you.

The Ferry Project is here to help single adult homeless people in Fenland - not simply to provide accommodation, but to give them the skills they need to live independently. Since our beginning in 1988, we have supported over 3000 homeless people.
