I'm raising money for Mind as they have recently helped my family through a tough time.

On the 26th of September I was detained under Section 2 of the Mental Health Act and was in a psychiatric ward for 2 weeks under this section. Mind were invaluable in helping my parents navigate this complicated situation and the information on this website was so useful for me as well. They helped me and my family understand my rights and the legalities surrounding my detention and how to advocate for me.

Mental health, unfortunately, is still stigmatised, and Mind are helping to change that.

I want to raise money for Mind so they can help more people and their families, like they have done for us.
