Riding over 450km from the west to east coast of beautiful Sri Lanka, we, the riders from across hospitality will take on tricky terrain and long distances for 'Pedalling For Pubs 2023' to raise money and awareness for two great charities, 'The Licensed Trade Charity' and 'Only a Pavement Away', who support people, the homeless and those who work in the pub and hospitality industry.

This is personal.

Sri Lanka is a special place for me. At the age of 19, having worked in project for 8 months I experienced the first few weeks of the Tamil Tiger insurrection. First hand. It changed me.

We ride to the Beach in Trincomalee at which the Tigers started out, and I witnessed it.

I ride for those in need. I am lucky I got through, I am privileged to be a survivor of challenging times.
