Exeter's Bigwave Business Games, 23 June 2023
The Bigwave Business Games is an annual competition, comprised of several games designed to test business employees in the south west. At the heart of the Games is a fundraising ethos and this year, our chosen charity is Hospiscare!

Story

This year, Hambly Freeman are proud to announce we will be taking part in the Exeter Bigwave Business Games! We are browbeating our entire team into taking part in this year's events and hoping to not only have a good time as a team, but to do our bit for the main fundraising effort with the rest of the Exeter business community.

At the heart of the Games is a fundraising ethos and this year Hospiscare is the chosen charity. They are a vital part of the local health system and provide expert palliative and end-of-life care for those who need it across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Every year, they support over 2,500 people during some of the hardest times possible, enabling them to make the most of the time they have left.

What we didn't realise before signing up for the Games is that Hospiscare are not funded by the local NHS Trust and rely almost entirely on public support. With some of us recently having experience with end-of-life care support it's fresh in the mind just how important these types of services are in the current situation, so we are proud to support Hospiscare this year.

No matter how much or little you can give, every bit is greatly appreciated by all of us here at Hambly Freeman.
