Story
During my time in the Respiratory Disease team at RWK Goodman, I was fortunate to work with HASAG Asbestos Disease Support. I attended several of their coffee mornings, where I met and spoke with individuals and families affected by asbestos-related diseases.
Listening to their experiences first-hand reinforced for me just how vital HASAG’s work is. The compassion, practical support and sense of community they provide make a truly meaningful difference during incredibly difficult times.
So, I’m pleased to share that I’ll be fundraising for HASAG by running the Oxford Half Marathon in October 2026.
Having never really run more than 5km before the start of this year, this will definitely be a challenge, but one I’m (hopefully) ready to take on. I’m looking forward to pushing myself out of my comfort zone, all in support of the incredible work HASAG does for those affected by asbestos-related diseases.
