Delivering Ataxia UK medical guidelines to my GP, 25 September 2023
Too many people with ataxia struggle to receive a diagnosis. Many medical professionals are unaware of ataxia, so this IAAD we are walking together to our GP surgeries to deliver specialist Guidelines to support them and raise awareness and funds.

Story

This International Ataxia Awareness Day (IAAD), I'm taking two steps towards speedier ataxia diagnosis by walking a copy of the Ataxia UK medical guidelines to my GP surgery on 25th September 2023.

I am fundraising for Ataxia UK to support their mission of ending slow ataxia diagnosis. I know firsthand how difficult it is for medical professionals to identify and diagnose this condition, which is why it is important doctors have the correct guidance so they are able to identify the signs and diagnose quicker. No one should go undiagnosed, and with your help, we can make a real difference.

Your support will be invaluable to making sure that no one has to suffer from slow ataxia diagnosis any longer. Please join me in making a difference and donate today!
