Story
THANK YOU!
Tim Sledge from XLP says, “XLP was delighted to stick its oar into the Haberdashers’ rowing challenge. It’s great to raise money for good causes like ours, but it’s also good to realise that we aren’t just rowing on our own. It’s a team effort to collaborate against some of the injustices across the city.
Disadvantaged young people need partners in the city – companies, liveries, councils and individuals to stick their oar in more to help young people row away from the rapids into the upstream of positive futures for them.”

As part of City Giving Day 2023 the Haberdashers' Company is raising funds for three great youth charities: Construction Youth Trust, EY Foundation and XLP, plus the Haberdashers' Foundation.
These charities transform the lives of young people. They each work closely with young people who come from disadvantaged backgrounds, to help them flourish and fulfil their ambitions.
Haberdashers, staff and charity friends will row on four static rowing machines, each one representing one of our schools hubs: Monmouth, HWMAT, Elstree and HATS. The challenge will be to see which hub can 'row' the furthest.
Please give as generously as you can. The Haberdashers' Master and Clerk, plus Alderman & Sheriff Alastair King, will be joining in the rowing and will be grateful for your support.
Thank you for your contribution.
Note: the funds will be split four ways between Construction Youth Trust, EY Foundation, XLP and Haberdashers' Foundation. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
