Swansea students are supporting Teenage Cancer Trust by sending a team to take on Everest Base Camp in 2024. Their fundraising efforts will help make sure no young person faces cancer alone.

Story

Hey, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Gwion, and I'm raising money on behalf of the Teenage Cancer Trust by climbing 5,364 meters (17,598 ft) to the base camp of Mount Everest.

Every year, there are around 2,400 new cancer cases in young people in the UK alone. Teenage Cancer Trust ensures that every young person undergoing distressing treatments has the support they need. This is provided through funded specialised nurses, youth workers, and hospital units in the NHS, so young people have dedicated staff and facilities to support them throughout treatment.

Thanks for your support, and any donations are greatly appreciated.
