Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Polly and I have take the brave, bold and probably stupid decision to run the 2025 London Marathon.

Neither of us have ever taken on the dreaded 26.2 mile track in London (or anywhere else for that matter) but we will be giving it our all until the 27th April 2025 to ensure we can raise as much money as possible for Rays Of Sunshine.

Rays of Sunshine is a charity that our family have been involved with for a number of years and they do some fantastic work all across the UK.

There are over 85,000 children and young people living in the UK with a life-threatening or life-limiting illness. This figure is increasing every year.

Rays of Sunshine brightens the lives of seriously ill young people and their families by granting wishes and providing ongoing support within hospitals.

We believe that every child deserves to experience happiness and put their illness on hold – even if it is just for one day.

I know times are hard but if you could donate all you can that would be amazing!

Much love,

Gus and Polly x

We brighten the lives of seriously ill young people by granting wishes and providing ongoing support. Our wishes are as unique as the children themselves and whether a child wants to be a fireman, meet a real-life mermaid or even the Loch Ness Monster, we work hard to make that wish come true.
