We support socially deprived children to improve health and wellbeing

Story

On June 6th I will be cycling 234 miles (377 km) from Dumbarton to Aberdeen with the C2C Team. We'll be crossing stunning Scottish scenery and conquering the epic climb over the Lecht (I am making it sound glamorous, but that’s a lot of hard work!!), all to raise money for charity.

The cause. This year, I'm riding for The Russell Anderson Foundation. The Russell Anderson Foundation strives to create life-changing programmes that make a sustainable and measurable difference in the health and wellbeing of children in our community. They host free sports camps for children who otherwise could not afford this. The team are embedded in local schools with the creation of skills hubs withing the school to support not only the Children but also importantly their families.

Help, please!! Please help by donating to my JustGiving page! Every single penny goes straight to the charities, with employee matching and Gift Aid for those who can.

About the charity

Our charity uses sport as a tool to engage the children and to guide them away from any negative effects in their lives. Our goal is for every child to feel positive about themselves and to provide opportunities to enable them to fulfil their potential, regardless of the obstacles they face.
