Giselle and Jonathan's VAP 3 Trilogy ride

Giselle Taylor is raising money for University College London Hospitals Charity UK

Team: VEGAS AFTER PARTY 3 - THE TRILOGY RIDE

In memory of Elias Taylor
£317,423
raised of £400,000 target

Bike ride · 3 July 2025

For 30 years patients and staff have been choosing to support Haematology Cancer Care because we help the Haematology Service deliver transformational treatment and personalised care at UCLH.

Story

Because of your generosity, the research project in Elias’ name started in December 2021!!! This was specifically looking at how the CAR-T treatment that had given us so much hope for Elias, can be improved.

Every £ raised by our riders in July 2019, went directly to the charity and as well as funding the research project, we were able to buy an aphereris machine which is helping leukaemia patients right now, every day.

We went again in July 2022, 270kms from Paris to Poitiers, in a 3-day challenge to continue our journey in Elias' name.

With your help, we took the fund-raising target over the £300,000 mark and enabling a 2nd PhD student to transform treatment for leukaemia patients.

And now we are going again on our Trilogy ride in July 2025, Vienne to Aigues-Mortes, 340kms along the banks of the Rhone.

£500,000 has a certain ring to it…Beautiful!

We are humbled by your generosity and know that Elias would have been very proud and would have loved every minute.
