Charity Abseil at Avon Gorge for FareShare South West · 5 October 2024

An intrepid team of FareShare South West fundraisers are facing their fears to fight hunger and food waste!

Story

Adam, Cam and Laylah will be taking on the Avon Gorge abseil challenge on 5th October 2024 in order to raise money for one of Grosvenor Consultancy's chosen charities for 2024: FareShare South West.

Right now, more than 1 million people in the south west are living in poverty. Meanwhile, 4.6 million tonnes of quality, edible food – enough for more than 10 billion meals – is wasted every year across the food industry, causing irreparable climate damage.

By saving nutritious food destined for landfill and sharing it with people in need, FareShare South West joins the dots between hunger and food waste. Every £1 donated could pay to share food for 4 meals with those who need it.

Please support Adam, Cam and Laylah as they attempt the 120ft abseil while raising money for a fantastic cause!
