Story

The Hope Foundation UK

Dear friends,

On the 28th August 2024 Greg and I will walk 800 km along the Camino de Santiago.

Why? To raise money for the amazing charity, The Hope Foundation UK. We found out about this charity via a travel program presented by the actress Sue Perkins. She is also a long term supporter along with Olivia Colman. We have been supporting a young child through education for many years now and we have seen the difference their work makes.

The Hope Foundation's vision is to create a world where no child has to suffer. Since 1999, they have been tirelessly working towards providing lasting positive change in the lives of street-connected children and slum communities in Kolkata, India. Through more than 60 vital projects, they focus on child protection, education, healthcare, and life skills services for vulnerable children and families living in unimaginably difficult circumstances.

However, none of this would be possible without your support. We ask you to join me in this journey by making a donation towards my fundraising goal of £300. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of those who need it the most.

Together, we can make a difference and bring hope where it is needed most. Every step we take on the Camino de Santiago will be motivated by your generosity and belief in this cause. We will share the journey on instagram “Gremilysadventures”

With heartfelt thanks,

Emily and Greg
