Running events to support Crohn's & Colitis UK in 2024

Story

Hi,

Along with my best friend Lloyd, I'll be tying up my trainers for the biggest physical challenge of my life so far: the London2Brighton Ultra Marathon, a 100km stretch over two days. This started as a “why not” but we’ve both found charities that we’re honoured to be supporting through our ferocious two-stepping.

I'm dedicating every step to Crohn's & Colitis UK for my sister. Katie's had Crohn's for over a decade and has handled it far better than I could ever imagine doing so myself. She always looks forward and puts others before herself no matter how bad her condition is.

The run is also a rare chance for Lloyd and I to spend some time together now that we live at other ends of the country. Lloyd’s running for MacMillan Cancer Support, honouring the memory of a family member who passed away from cancer.

Together we’ll push through 58km on day 1 and 42km (a whole marathon) on day 2, with a glorious pint or 5 by the beach at the end.

I'd be grateful for any donations you can spare. Don’t worry if you can’t donate, but please share my link incase others can.

Thank you
