I'll be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on October 8th to raise funds for the Rory Peck Trust and will match the total I raise up to £150.

Telling the stories the world needs to hear can come at great risk to freelance journalists, many of whom have been seriously injured, threatened, imprisoned, detained, forced into exile or killed as a result of their work.

The Rory Peck Trust exists to protect freelance journalists globally. It provides safety training, professional psychological support and critical financial assistance through their Safety Training, Therapy and Crisis Funds.
