Fundraising for THE FOX PROJECT / SOUTHERN WILDLIFE AMBULANCE NETWORK
I am very privileged to have been given The Fox Project's first ever London Marathon charity entry.
The Fox Project is a charity very close to my heart and I am hoping to raise lots of funds for their Fox Cub Food Bank for 2025.
From rescuing just three foxes in 1993, The Fox Project has blossomed into a crucial lifeline for over 1,400 foxes, including more than 450 injured or orphaned cubs in 2024.
March sees the start of the intense cub season, which lasts until the end of August. It is a long and costly journey from an orphaned or injured cub's admission, to release back into the wild.
The youngest cubs, in particular, need round-the-clock care and feeding until they can transition to solid meals. During peak season, the wonderful caring people at The Fox Project provide around 900 meals a week at the cub unit alone, highlighting the significant resources required to support these vulnerable creatures.
This is where the Food Bank comes into play. Through your generosity, we can ensure that every cub receives high-quality food and essential enrichment items that aid in their development and hunting skills.
Your support will make a tangible difference in the lives of these vulnerable cubs, helping them grow, learn, and ultimately thrive in the wild.
So I kindly and respectfully ask for your help in raising sufficient funds to allow the Fox Project to care for every single fox cub that comes into their care this year.
Please make a donation however small, every single £1 will help !
Knowing that you have all supported this fundraising effort, will really help me through every mile of the 26.2 miles of the Marathon, on London's streets on 27th April !
Thank you
