Walking Hadrian's Wall for the MCF Shropshire 2030 Festival Appeal

Festivals · 7 September 2020 to 7 September 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
Hi, I'm Greg, and soon I will be walking Hadrian's Wall from Newcastle to Bowness-on-Solway to raise money for the Masonic Charitable Foundation as part of my participation in the 2030 Masonic Festival for Shropshire.
The walk will be from the 5th to the 10th May 2025, staying in accommodation along the way but carrying all other essentials. The route is around 80 miles across the rugged landscape of Britain. I'll carry a banner for the 2030 festival on my backpack all the way!
I've created this page because I want to make a difference. The Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) is one of the largest charitable organizations in the UK, funded by Freemasons and their families. It provides support to individuals in need and grants to charities across England and Wales. During the financial year ending March 2024, the foundation distributed approximately £24.5 million in charitable grants and support during that period. This includes funding for health and social care, education, disaster relief, and support for disadvantaged communities.
Our aim in Shropshire (during our 'Festival') is to raise £1M for the MCF in the period running up to 2030.
Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button. The more people that know about this cause the better, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
