Story

Myself (Greg) and my ‘better half’ Abbie will be cycling 55 miles, London to Brighton for myeloma!

A charity that is very close to my heart with my father (Peter) being diagnosed in 2022

About Myeloma UK - Myeloma UK is a charity that helps people affected by myeloma. We want to help patients live longer, more comfortably and more enjoyably. We provide information and support for myeloma patients and their families and friends. We support people who work with myeloma patients, like doctors and nurses. We work with others to find, develop and give patients new myeloma treatments.

Myeloma, also known as multiple myeloma, is a blood cancer arising from plasma cells. At any one time there are around 24,000 people living with myeloma in the UK. It accounts for 15 per cent of blood cancers, and two per cent of all cancers. Myeloma mainly affects those over the age of 65, however it has been diagnosed in people much younger.
