GreenKite Miles for Memories

On Thursday 28 November 2024, the insurance industry will come together for Insurance Day for Dementia - a crucial day dedicated to raising funds and awareness to support those living with dementia. This initiative highlights the urgent need for action within an industry where it's estimated that half of the 300,000 people working in the UK insurance sector are currently affected by dementia, whether directly, through a loved one, or other personal connections.

This year, GreenKite is taking an active role in the insurance industry’s movement, Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD), by participating in a 1000-mile challenge in support of Alzheimer’s Society, our chosen charity of the year.

Between 1 September and 28 November 2024, our team will collectively walk, run, cycle, swim, and more to cover 1000 miles. Our goal is to raise at least £1000 during this period, helping to fund vital support services and research initiatives for the Alzheimer's Society.

GreenKite will match donations up to £5,000 to help support the efforts and research of the Alzheimer's Society.
