After the success of last years Manchester Metrolink Challenge, this year I wanted to go even bigger and better! I believe I have found the perfect way to go bigger & better...

The challenge in question is to walk the full length of The Great Western Mainline!!! That's right, the full length from London Paddington, all the way to Penzance! There is one rule to this challenge, that is to stand on the platform of Every Last Station on the route!

Starting on Saturday 2nd September I will set off on my mammoth walk through the countryside. I have allowed 25 days (including some rest days) to complete this walk. Should it take a bit longer then so be it. The aim is to complete the walk, not do it in the fastest possible time.

As with last year I will be raising money for the brilliant Samaritans. The work they do is priceless and every penny raised really does make a difference to those who need their support.
