Graham Evans is raising money for Bury Hospice
Bury Hospice does 'Strictly come Dancing' as our contestants gear up for the dance challenge of their life. Each will spend 12 weeks learning new dances to be performed in front of a live audience.

Story

I am so excited to be taking part in Strictly Best Foot forward for Bury Hospice in 2026. Anyone who knows me already knows I am the guy who disappears the second a dance floor lights up. I have absolutely zero rhythm, no flexibility, and my hips move like they were built out of old car parts.

The truth is I have wanted to learn to dance properly for years, but I have always bottled it. Now I am throwing myself in at the deep end for a cause that genuinely matters.

There is also a bit of friendly competition here. I taught last years winner Adam Lewis to drive, so I cannot let him have all the glory. If he can lift a trophy, surely I can at least manage a basic step without falling over. Maybe.

Bury Hospice is seriously underfunded and every single tenner makes a huge difference. If you can spare something, even the cost of a coffee, it will go straight toward helping local families who really need it.

Thanks for supporting me and let us see if I can actually learn to dance without breaking a limb. 🙃💙

It costs £4.8million pounds to run Bury Hospice, and as a charity they only receive 13% of this figure from the government leaving us to raise all of the majority ourselves. Every donation makes a difference.
