I love animals, dogs in particular I've always had a strong connection with. They are classed as mans best friend, yet more and more dogs are being abandoned, not cared for correctly and having to be put down before they've had chance to experience love.

One charity I'm helping to raise funds for is the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Battersea takes dogs and cats in, gives them the expert care they need and finds them new homes that are just right for them.

They help pet owners make informed choices, provide training advice, and campaign for changes in the law.

Although I am not local to this charity, the work they do can be seen far and wide.

They believe that every animal deserves a chance at a happy and healthy life, and your support will help them continue their vital mission.
