Story
This year CRiBS is celebrating its 30th anniversary and they are aiming to raise £30k! #30for30 🥳
As a family we'll be contributing to these fundraising efforts by raising £500 throughout the month of June. Together Alex, Sinéad and the boys will walk, run, scoot and row 30 miles (the equivalent of a mile a day).
Please give what you can to get behind us and to support the amazing work that CRiBS does in local schools.
You can keep up with our activities via the "posts" section below.
And you can find out more about CRiBS here:
The work of CRiBS supports the Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development of children and young people as we seek to inspire Growing Faith and promote Living Values. Our desire is that all children have the opportunity to explore and think through the values they live by and the beliefs that underpin them. Our starting point is that the Christian story provides a compelling framework for doing this, including people of all backgrounds and providing space for growth and exploration.
The activities we run take place in local primary and secondary schools and include: Intervention groups to support children with social, emotional and mental health challenges; Life skills workshops (e.g. financial literacy, transition to secondary school); Supporting pupils to create and maintain Christian Unions and prayer spaces; Leading school assemblies; 1:1 Mentoring; Performing seasonal plays (Christmas and Easter) and teaching RE lessons.
