Story
We have put Bagging Munros (climbing Scotland's mountains over 3,000 feet) on the back burner and taken to cycling like ducks to water. Riding our first sportive the day after Trish's 70 something birthday (number of Heinz varieties plus a baker's dozen plus the number of seasons; lol). Please support us in our quest to raise funds for the Asperger's Syndrome Foundation (ASF). Close to Graham's heart having 'discovered he is' Asperger's five years ago. It explains a lot!
"The Aspergers Syndrome Foundation (ASF) was founded in 2002 by parents, desperately seeking advice, guidance and support. The Foundations aims are dedicated to raising awareness, providing the latest research and running seminars with world leading experts in the field. Many people with Asperger's are excluded from a social life and depression can lead to loneliness and sometimes worse. The ASF runs a social club once a month for young adults for four hours providing a safe, non-judgemental environment where the focus is on social skills, mindfulness, health and well being. All monies raised will go towards running their helpline where enquiries are answered within 24 hours, and maintain the programme of support and group activities.
