I've been volunteering for Crisis since taking early retirement in early 2022.

Crisis are a national charity for people experiencing homelessness. They help people directly out of homelessness and campaign for the changes needed to solve it altogether.

The "cost of living crisis" is being experienced up and down the UK and is hitting families on low incomes proportionally harder as they spend more of their income on housing, basic food items and transport.

This year nearly 300,000 families and individuals in the UK are at risk of facing the worst forms of homelessness.

Crisis are campaigning hard to change Govt. policy on housing, benefits and landlord regulation to support families at risk of becoming homeless.

I've committed to a 6 months training plan to row a marathon in under 3 hours on an indoor rower in December 2023 to coincide with the Crisis 2023 Christmas Campaign.

The row will take place in London, date and venue to be confirmed but supporters will be welcome!
