Graham's Triple Challenge for The Leeds Rhinos Foundation

Graham Holroyd is raising money for The Leeds Rhinos Foundation

Graham's Triple Challenge · 11 May 2025

On Sunday 11th May 2025, runners will set off from AMT Headingley Stadium to take on either the Rob Burrow CBE Leeds Marathon or Leeds Half Marathon, supporting our mission to continue changing lives through the power of sport.

Story

The purpose of Leeds Rhinos Foundation is to change lives through the power of sport.

Their Values Are:

TRUST – We aspire to be trusted by everyone we work with to deliver excellence.

ENJOYMENT – We look to create a positive environment to inspire everyone we work with.

PROGRESSIVE – We are forward thinking and innovative

INCLUSIVE – We treat everyone fairly, with dignity and respect and do not discriminate.

The foundation provides activities and support for people from all walks of life through sport and group meetings.

They run both physical and learning disability rugby teams, as well a netball team. They offer dance group for kids called the Rhinestones.

Mid week they run meet ups for veterans, those with dementia, those with parkinsons and those grieving and more!

Continuing to look to change lives through the power of sport, using the outreach they have a professional rugby club.

I try to echo their values as one of the run leaders for the Foundation's Run with the Rhinos Run Club, in partnership with Fordy Runs Running Club. To see first hand some of the work the foundation do is amazing and the least I could do is try to raise some funds to aid this.

So this is my triple challenge!

18/04 - M2L - 50 Mile run from Manchester to Liverpool

27/04 - Manchester Marathon

11/05 - Leeds Marathon

That's over 100 'competitive' miles in just over a 3 week period on top of any other runs and leading some session at the running club.
