Operation "HOME"

Operation "HOME" I will be spending 10days, solo in the Mourne Mountains, trekking 10 miles per day and only going up there with 1 days worth of food. · 11 April 2025
In a world where many face the harsh reality of homelessness, The Welcome Organisation stands as a beacon of hope. Through their dedicated services, including a Drop-in Centre, Street Outreach service, Crisis Accommodation for Women, Floating Support service, Catherine House supported accommodation for women, and a Mobile Health Unit, they provide essential support to those in need.
As I prepare for my personal challenge—Operation "HOME"—I will be spending 10 days trekking solo in the breath-taking Mourne Mountains. Each day will see me covering 10 miles with only one day's worth of food. This journey is not just about physical endurance; it is about raising awareness and funds for The Welcome Organisation's vital work.
I invite you to join me in this mission. Together, we can raise £10,000 to ensure that those affected by homelessness receive the support they desperately need. Your contribution will make a significant difference in their lives and help restore dignity and hope to those who have lost so much. Let’s come together to create lasting change and show that everyone deserves a place to call home.
Thank you
