Story

Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Supporters,

I'm reaching out to you with a heartfelt mission that's very close to my heart. On September 9th, I'll be embarking on a challenging journey to the summit of Slieve Donard, not only for personal accomplishment but also to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who are fighting a battle much tougher than any mountain.

I'm dedicating this hike to support the incredible work of Friends of the Cancer Centre. This charity holds immense significance for me, as it's a cause that has directly touched my family. My father, a pillar of strength in our lives, has been courageously battling leukemia and undergoing rigorous treatment. Witnessing his resilience in the face of adversity has inspired me to take action and contribute to a cause that aids individuals and families like ours, navigating the challenges of cancer.

Friends of the Cancer Centre provides vital support, care, and resources to cancer patients and their families during their toughest times. From funding groundbreaking research to offering a comforting hand to hold, they make an incredible impact on the lives of those affected by cancer.

I humbly ask for your support in this endeavor. Your donation, no matter the size, will directly contribute to easing the burdens of cancer patients, improving treatment outcomes, and fostering hope. Your contribution will honour my father's strength and countless others who face similar battles with unwavering courage.

Let's climb this mountain together, not just for the breathtaking view from the summit, but for the countless lives we can touch and uplift through our compassion and generosity. Please consider donating and sharing this message with your circle. Every penny makes a difference.

Thank you for being a part of this journey, and for shining a light of hope for all those who need it most.

With heartfelt gratitude
