In September this year a team from Day Group will be joining the Ziggurat 2024 bike ride in Italy. We will be covering a distance of 235 miles, and total climb of 16,713 feet, over 4 days in hilly Tuscany.

Please support us in helping to raise research funds for a great cause, Action Medical Research. Last year we raised £34,000, helping the ride reach a grand total of over £160k!

I have supported this excellent charity for a few years now. It not such a well known one but does great work to do the 'hard yards' over years to get cures - its helps prevent Children getting ill in the first place.

So what have they done?

Their research has helped to beat polio in the UK, develop ultrasound, fight meningitis and prevent stillbirths.

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity saving and changing children’s lives through medical research. For 65 years they have helped pioneer ways to prevent disease and develop treatments benefiting millions of people.

Clearly, there is so much more to do to develop more new treatments and cures for sick babies and children and they can’t do it without all of us.
