Story
In February, I'm running 29 miles to impact the future of pancreatic cancer, a disease that claimed my grandad in 2010.
Though 29 miles may seem modest, the impact is immense – it's personal, a tribute to a man, a gentleman, a giant, my grandad. If I surpass my £29 target, I'll double the effort to 58 miles.
A mere £29 can accelerate diagnostic research, vital in our pancreatic cancer emergency. Over half of diagnoses result in death within 3 months; this is unacceptable.
