I am doing the Glasgow Kilt Walk 2024 to raise money for the Encephalitis International so they can continue to help individuals and their families affected by Encephalitis.

My brother Gary suffered a brain injury in May 2021 after becoming unwell with Encephalitis.

After being left with some life changing complications he obtained help and support from the Encephalitis International. Attending meetings with them has allowed him to discuss what happened to him with people who understand as well as sharing with each other things they do to help them overcome the difficulties they now have.
