Having run the London Marathon last year, and having promised myself I wouldn't again, I have somehow found myself running the 2025 race! Because this doesn’t seem hard enough, I will then be running a 55k ultra in the Peaks in June. All this is not in vain, however, as I hope to raise money for an excellent cause.

Crossroads Care Richmond and Kingston upon Thames is a fantastic charity that provides support for unpaid carers. Acting as an unpaid carer is an often exhausting and isolating role.Crossroads offers professional support and respite to those in need with a team of highly experienced, paid care supportworkers who provide crucial relief to carers who are often on the verge of burnout.

The charity also offers a number of community respite projects where carers can go to build friendship and enjoy activities as well as receiving support and up-to-date advice from specialist Crossroads Care staff.

Crossroads has made such a difference to many people's lives. Any donations would be massively appreciated to help them in the future!
