Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit Gossops Green Primary School JustGiving page. We are fundraising for St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley; a local charity with a big ambition – to make sure nobody faces death and loss alone. The hospice relies on donations to offer pioneering end of life care and support to people in Sussex and East Surrey.

On the morning of Thursday 23rd May Gossops Green Primary School are hosting a fund-raising mini-marathon event for St Catherine's Hospice. All of the children and many of the staff will be walking or running a mini-marathon on our school field with the aim of raising as much money as we can for this amazing, local charity. As many of us sadly know only too well, cancer will affect one in two of us at some point in our lives.

St Catherine's are not funded by government and rely on charitable donations to provide the service that they do. Their vision is a world where everyone can face death informed, supported and pain free and where those at their most vulnerable are treated with understanding, patience, respect and, most importantly, with dignity.

Please support this fund-raising event if you can by sponsoring your child and by joining us on this special day as we come together as a community to make a difference.
