Mace Foundation & Become
Campaign by Mace Foundation (RCN 1150134)
The Mace Foundation has partnered with national charity Become to help young people with experience of the care system to grow, access opportunities, and unleash their potential in work and society.

Story

On Thursday 13 March we are encouraging Mace colleagues around the world to go ‘red’ to help raise awareness and funds for our charity partner Become, supporting children in care and young care leavers.

Did you know last year in England 13,050 young people left care on their 18th birthday. These young people often lack the family support that many of us take for granted. They face a tough transition to independence, often too quickly and without the right support. Imagine being made to leave care on your 18th birthday – that’s a harsh reality for many.

We are encouraging all employees worldwide to unite to help raise awareness and funds to help improve the lives of these young people and to inspire others to do the same. Whether that is wearing red to the office, hosting a red themed fundraiser, or decorating your desk red, let's turn Mace red for the day to support our new charity partner.
