A new fundraising challenge for 2024.

Story

When the Doddie Foundation laid down the challenge of “All Roads Lead to Rome”, as an MN5DF fundraiser the Cycling Souters immediately decided they would take up the challenge and cycle 1,500 miles from Selkirk to Rome.

Departing on Sun 3rd March 2024 they aim to arrive at the Piazza Navona in Rome by 5pm on Friday 8th March 2024 for a celebratory Limoncello with all the other participants. On Saturday March 9th, the Cycling Souters will join other Scots to honour the memory of Doddie by marching from Piazza del Popolo to the Stadio Olympico for the 6-nations match between Italy and Scotland.

The challenge is aiming to raise £1 million for My Name5 Doddie Foundation, all to fund the much-needed research to find effective treatments for MND. We hope to make a modest but important contribution to the overall target.Any support you can give is much appreciated.
