Story
In 2025, I’m taking on the London Marathon to raise vital funds for The Salvation Army’s work in combatting modern slavery and human trafficking. It’s a cause I deeply believe in—The Salvation Army provides critical support to victims, helping them reclaim their lives and build safe futures free from exploitation.
My journey to this marathon has been far from straightforward. Just a few years ago, I was living a largely sedentary lifestyle, grappling with some tough personal challenges. In 2022, I decided to step outside my comfort zone and take on the national Three Peaks Challenge. That experience sparked something in me, and by 2023, I’d pushed myself even further by completing the Three Peaks in under 24 hours with two colleagues.
Now, I’m setting my sights on the London Marathon, even though I haven’t run regularly since my early 20s! I know it’s going to be tough, but every step is worth it if it means helping survivors of modern slavery find freedom and support.
Your donation will go directly toward The Salvation Army’s crucial work, empowering victims of modern slavery and human trafficking to rebuild their lives. Please support me in this mission—every contribution brings us closer to making a real difference in someone’s life.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Together, we can stand up against exploitation and give hope to those who need it most.
