Story

We are joining a national team of female doctors, paramedics and pilots representing their individual HEMS charities to raise awareness of women working in HEMS and to inspire more women to join us!

We are raising funds to support the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).

GNAAS exists entirely on public funding and rescues hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year throughout the North East, North Yorkshire, Cumbria and Isle of Man. We deliver life-saving treatments at the scene of the incident, whether on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre.

Last year our charity responded to more than 2,200 call-outs via our helicopter and rapid response vehicles, performing treatments and procedures which can mean the difference between life or death for our patients.

Delivering this service costs £8.5 million per year so every penny you can donate helps us reach that milestone and keeps us running in more ways than one…!

Thank you,

Hollie, Jemma, Greta, Laura and Vicky
