Hi I’m Gareth Thomas, I’m currently undergoing chemotherapy for stage 4 Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma ( Cancer) . I would be hugely grateful if you could sponsor my mates Andy, Simon, John , Ian , myself as we ride 268km over two days from Caernarfon Castle to Chepstow Castle for Fatboys Children’s Cancer Charity.

Fatboys raises money for very poorly children to have a very special Christmas present, delivered by one of Fatboys own volunteer elves , often these deliveries are in hospital where the child is undergoing treatment over the Christmas period.

Last year we raised almost £5000 taking part in the Twickenham to Paris bike ride. I was undergoing chemotherapy for a different type of cancer then.

This year is a bit more challenging due to being rediagnosed with a more aggressive Cancer, so I will be escorted by my cycling elves from Performance cycling club, Unfortunately I have to undergo Stem Cell Therapy later in the summer, so this ride will be my only opportunity this year, before I stand the arduous SCT process after 6 cycles of Chemotherapy.
