Story
Craig Beech, Dave Dunk and Spike Johns are collectively rowing a whopping 1,000,000 metres in January (as part of the wider rowing community 'Concept2' team challenge) and would love your support.
Craig, Dave and Spike will be actively rowing throughout the month, culminating on Wednesday 29th January. On this day, they aim to complete the 1,000,000 metre challenge with rowing machines set up at our Global Marine Group head office, Ocean House in Chelmsford, Essex - where colleagues can buddy up with the team and help get them across the finish line with a smile on their faces.
About the charity:
Farleigh Hospice is a registered charity (no. 284670) which provides hospice care to people affected by life-limiting illnesses across mid Essex.
They help patients to live as actively as possible from the point of diagnosis to the end of their life, by providing physical and emotional care, free of charge.
With approximately 40% of their yearly running costs being funded by the local NHS, they rely on the support and goodwill of the local mid Essex community to contribute to the £21,271 it costs to provide their services each day.
