We fund world leading cancer research to give hope to cancer patients

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've chosen to fundraise with Cancer research as a first hand experiencer of how cancer can affect a family. As it will have been around 7 years on the month of the race that we sadly lost my father to pancreatic cancer.

Also with one of my good friends being diagnosed with a tumor last year, it brings a stark reality that it can affect anyone at any point in life.

1 in 2 people in the UK born after 1960 will be diagnosed with some form of cancer during their lifetime.

I have chosen to support Cancer Research Wales, with the hope that we can one day, aim to overcome it and prevent people from dying too young.

I am very excited to be taking on this challenge again, with the hope of smashing the PB set last year (1 of 1). I will update with any progress I've made on the journey.

Any donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference.
