Story
Glenn Winteringham led the digital development at the Royal Free Group of hospitals, the largest hospital group in London, over several decades, beginning as CIO at Whittington Hospital.
He was known for his inspirational leadership, unstinting kindness, and ability to deliver digital transformation. Sadly Glenn passed away in May after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Glenn's friends and colleagues wanted to raise some money in his memory to help raise awareness and fund much needed research into brain tumours.
At this years HETT conference in London (24th and 25th September) we will be hosting a Rockaoke event with support from conference organisers GovNet who have kindly offered The Brain Tumour Charity the chance to be the official charity partner of the conference.
The event is also being supported by a number of technology partners including Rackspace, Dell Technologies, AMD, Restart, Imprivata, Tanium, Barco, Paloalto and Ergotron.
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.
We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And we're doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
