Story
On Saturday 3 October 2026, I’m running the Victoria Park 10K to raise £250 for Pain Concern.
My experience of chronic pain began in my final year at the University of Bath, and it really changed my life. Since then, I’ve learnt to live with it. I’m raising money because I want other people living with chronic pain to have the information and support to help them do the same.
Pain Concern is a cause close to my heart, both through my own experience and as a volunteer with the charity. Volunteering has been another way for me to support people living with pain, and this run is a chance to contribute a little more.
Pain Concern provides information and support for people living with long-term pain and those who care for them, through its helpline, pain management resources and magazine, Pain Matters. Your donation will help the charity continue this work.
If you’re able to sponsor me, I’d be really grateful. Any amount is welcome, and sharing this page would mean a lot too.
Thank you for supporting me and Pain Concern.
Glenn
