We are raising money for the charity Meningitis Now.

Broughton & NN Football Club will play Broughton & NN Veterans in a memorial football match for Danny Rowe on Saturday, April 27th at 3 pm.

We will celebrate the memory of Danny Rowe while raising money for a great cause.

Dan was 16 years old when he died from Meningococcal Meningitis and Septicemia on July 29th 1994 (30years this year)

He was a bright, caring, funny and intelligent boy and very fit and active before he was suddenly taken ill. When the disease struck it took less than 48 hours before he passed away despite the dedicated team at The John Radcliffe Hospital doing all they could to save him.

Dan’s absolute passion was football - if he wasn’t playing in the Peoples Park with his friends he was playing for Broughton & North Newington under 17’s.
