We're excited to launch 'Beyond 150', a brand new fundraising initiative committed to the longevity of Glebe House School & Nursery. 'Beyond 150' will consist of high value fundraising initiatives to enable improvements and breathe a fresh lease of life into the school and its facilities.

'Beyond 150' will work in harmony with the Friends of Glebe House School ensuring that all the needs of the Glebe House community are met.

Project 1 : 150th Year Celebration and School Hall Renovation

Fundraising Target - £35,000

Renovation to be carried out - 7th July-31st August 2025

Renovation Plans - We aim to give the hall a much-needed refresh. This space is used by the whole school throughout the school calendar and regularly hosts families for informal concerts, performances, parents' evenings and other gatherings.

The hall was built in a modern style for its time, but we plan to give it a more traditional feel, reflecting the school's heritage that we see in old pictures.

New flooring, wood panelling and new wooden chairs will create a traditional quality atmosphere fitting for the 150-year celebrations. A simple colour scheme and refurbishment of the walls and ceiling will revitalize the space. The wall decor will be rearranged to showcase Glebe's rich history, including a new display documenting the school's 150-year journey through photography.
