Story
Howard University Alternative Spring Break (HUASB) is a nationally recognized service-learning program for students of all faiths and backgrounds to embrace the Howard University motto of “Truth and Service.” Coordinated through the Office of the Dean of the Chapel and offered at no cost to students, this student-led University service initiative allows students to discover the power of ethical leadership, civic engagement, and communal responsibility.
The 30th Annual HUASB program will take place March 3-10, 2024. This year’s theme, “A Legacy of Paying it Forward: 30 Years of Service” commemorates the three decades of service in communities throughout the globe.
We are asking HUASB Alumni and friends to make a gift to the Howard University Alternative Spring Break program and ensure that our students have the financial support needed to change the world through service this Spring Break!
